Being Persian myself, I have been to over a dozen Persian restaurants in the GTA. I hadn't been to 1001 nights in a long time, so I decided to give it another chance, going for someone's birthday party. Horrible idea. The bread didn't arrive until 1.5 hours after we sat down, it was served ice cold, almost 60% of the menu was unavailable, the hall was COLD, water jugs didn't come with glasses, the wine was sour and worst of all.. it was FULL of people who paid 25$ a plate for the priviledge! Disgusting. If you want better food and MUCH better service, go down the street to Shomal('North') Restaurant. Much better.
