Went to Moxies for a birthday dinner - bad mistake. Waitress brought wrong wine. Din't know that red zinfindel wine existed and then followed that up with bringing the wrong entree. No free drink/dinner/dessert or apology. Will not return !

We went for drinks and snacks about a week ago. Nothing special about the food, But I noticed some hot waitresses. Our waitress was good at flirting with us. Got her number and had her balls deep the next night. Forget her name but she gave great head. Worth going back at least twice.

First your greeted at the door by 2 bimbos with short skirts, then your taken to your table in a dark corner of the resturant. Then we get service from another bimbo who has a short attention span and really isn't equip to work this type of resturant(go back to mcdonalds.)We get our food which I have to say we would have eaten better at mcdonalds, the fish and chips were drenched in oil and cold the fries were so salty they left a crust on my lips. I probaly will never come to this resturant ever again, a very big disapointment. Clean up your act or you will loose a lot more customers.

This chain is usually a good and reliable outlet for good food and good atmosphere with the sexy skirted waitresses providing massive entertainment (and making sure I pay a tip of 20%). But at this location the waitress was wearing black pants (yes, like Swiss Chalet!) and kids were making noise at a table down the aisle. People, leave your tykes at home please! Moxie's you will lose business at this location if you don't bring back the miniskirts. I can eat anywhere including at home, I come for the food + entertainment

Needs to rethink what customer service standards are. The food each time has been getting progressively worse- Hell's Kitchen. Nothing tastes fresh; always overcooked or gulp, reheated! The manager was too busy to cast a glance at us, even though we had complaints. No value for the food- don't even get bread while waiting. So what if they have a child's menu? Our kids couldn't eat their food. The atmosphere is not family friendly even though it's in a mall! The waitress never warned me either about the hot plate and had wanted me to take it from her. Wraps taste better at Tim Horton's, steaks burnt, chicken hard and dry, pasta was old, salads limp, veggies bland, burgers taste like mostly fillers. Save your money and go somewhere more quiet, with better food and service for the price! This is not classy- restaurant's in Yorkville or financial district is classy, actually, we got better treatment and food in the mall fast food joint- so from a different perspective,that's class too!

Where do I even begin? My girlfriends and I decided to have a fun Christmas dinner at Moxies. We've been to the Square One location many times since we live around the area and used to work in the mall. This by was was the W O R S T service and food we have ever received.
1. The hostess was rude to begin with.
2. It took 30minutes for our server to greet us & she looked like she just came out of a tornado, and she needs a microphone to talk to us because we could not hear a single word she said!!
3. We all ordered martinis, since it was a thursday. One of my girlfriends received a very dirty martini glass with 3 previous lip stains on them. The rest of us received our martinis in a high ball glass..really?
4. We asked for beef with our nachos..did it come? NO..and to top it off, the waitress who dropped off the nachos did NOT inform us that the plate was HOT, we touched it, and my girlfriend has a boil on her fingers now!
5. We asked for another round of martinis and it took about 25 minutes to come.
6. Two of my girlfriends ordered the glazed salmon appetizer, and it came over cooked 3 times!!!
7. ...just a thought, shouldn't the manager be coming by at this point to apologize for all the inconveniences?...well he didn't
8. Now for the entrees (which took about an hour to come), 3 steaks were not cooked to their liking, and the pasta was very dry!
8. The biills were separate, we told our server what was on each bill AND she even WROTE IT DOWN! (she informed us that the second round of drinks were taken off, as well as the beef that was supposed to be on the nachos)
9. 20 minutes after asking for the bill, she messed up everyones bill and all the "comp" items were on them
10. overall, she did not apologize for ONE thing!
we were all very unimpressed, this has definitely ruined our Moxie's experience, and the sad part is, I used to work at this Moxie's location and I am embarassed to say that I was once employed here. They have definitely lost 6 regular customers. If there was a 0/10 rating for food, service, atmosphere and overall, that would be my choice!!
Do not eat here if you're looking for a girl night out ladies! you'll truly be disappointed. You'll get better service at Mcdonalds..and a free smile!

I will never return to this location again. The place has new ownership and the new owner is hostile and rude. They cook fish from frozen, which tastes absolutely disgusting. The plates were consistently dirty and they kept bringing me dirty side plates - three times in a row, without noticing! The dishwasher clearly doesn't woerk, which I would assume is a health and safety issue. Regarding "customer service" - they don't know what it means. We moved from the lounge to the dining room and the server expected us to carry our own appetizers over. Now to the owner - extremely rude. I won't subject myself to such abuse again and I caution anyone who is thinking of going there to think again. The owner is clearly unfamiliar with the importance of customer service. He owns three locations - Winston Churchill, Square One and another.

Go here strictly for drinks and atmosphere as the food here is nothing special at all. Drinks, hot servers and good looking women all round that frequent this place. I recommend the bar area for ambience, hot servers / bartenders and patrons.

Scarborough Town Centre location. The food was absolutely awful. I had the shrimp curry. I managed to find 3 very small shrimps in a gluey tasteless sauce.. The service was good. Atmosphere was OK. Pricey for bad food! My recommendation avoid this restaurant!

I loved the atmosphere, it was an amazing time, the server conversed with us and would engage in conversation when it was appropriate. The manager even checked in to see if everything was alright. Overall almost first class treament; I loved it!

I took my friend who was visiting from another country here for dinner and was severely disappointed. We both asked for our steaks to be medium rare, and they arrived overcooked, charred, dry and stringy. The drinks were expensive and not particularly amazing. We spent close to $55 per person for a meal that was not mediocre, but plain bad. I will not be returning and will not recommend this overpriced establishment to anyone. I left feeling embarrassed and was obligated to treat my visiting friend to another dinner at another restaurant.

I dont understand why the ratings for this place are so low. I think its really nice place. The atmoshere is great, and its a good looking place. Its every average resturant, like all places some items on the menu are really good and others not as much. The drinks are alittle pricy but i have paid more before. also with service it depends on who you get sometimes the person is great, other times they should even be working there. Anyways i would definitly go there again, some people are just too picky and it they wait 10mins for a table, they go and write a bad review.

Most uncomfortable chairs ever. Quite a few of the group were sitting on the menus so they could reach the table. These seemed more like patio chairs, and the tables were much to high for the chairs.

Bar service was great. I got my drinks and chilled out. Food stinks, plain & simple. Ambiance is good. Over all, the Moxies on Argentia rd is much better. Every waitress is smokin hot and the service is great. Go for the drinks and ambience. Not for the food and dining area.

The Fuzion Chicken Salad is DELICIOUS and so healthy!!! Love the Mojitos and the specialty coffees!! A bit pricey, but totally worth the experience!!!

Even with reservation, we waited 20 minutes for lunch on a thursday at 1:45PM. Food is god awful. Nachos are skimpy, burgers are tasteless, and desserts are overpriced. Bill was $35 a person AT LUNCH. Beautiful decor. Waiter was a jerk. Try somewhere else if you`re hungry.

Sat on the bar side and it was amazing. The waitress was hot and friendly, our steaks were perfect and the vibe was good. Apparently this place has been around for a while but it was my first time. I'd go back (though probably without my girlfriend!)
The honey garlic steak is amazing!

I've been to this location a few times. The mixed drinks are really small for the price your paying. The food is pretty good. BUT...my friends and I had a really bad expereince one time we were having a going-away dinner thing. I ordered a drink and the waitress didn't bring it. She also wouldn't accept my passport as ID. We were there for about and hour before she took our food order. And when she was handing out our bills she refused to give me mine when I asked for it becuase she was handing them out to the other table first and I had switched tables, so I had to switch back for her to give it to me. Non of us where impressed! Every other time I've been there the service has been alright.

The house brand beer was okay but the mixed drinks are insipid and small. Who the hell serves a gin martini in a highball glass? And I KNOW they had proper martini glasses. My partner's dinner was extremely overcooked. The calamari appetizer was limp and greasy. Steak salad was passable but stingy on the goat cheese. Waste of time & money going here. Pickle Barrel does a better job at casual dining. Then again, I should know better than to have a sit-down dinner at a mall by now.

Had the honey roasted garlic sirloin steak & it was juicy & delicious. A bunch of delicious appetizers to choose from, and our server, Stacey was awesome - very attentive & friendly. One of my favourite places to eat.

The service here is sometimes very slow, but other than that it's enjoyable. On weekends it's very busy so try to make reservations or arrive early! The food is enjoyable. And their alcoholic drinks are great!
