The owner and his wife are a wonderful couple, providing a very personable atmosphere! Their homemade mushroom soup was to die for! My friend and I dropped by for a quick bowl of soup and we enjoyed our lunch so much, not only because of the food, but because of the conversation we had with them. We had visited them originally when they first opened, however we all know there are glitches to starting every business-waiting,service etc. This place has come a long way in a short time....Congratulations and keep up the great Food and Personalities!

We stumbled upon this hidden gem one day and haven't looked back! We come to this restaurant just about every time we decide to eat out. I'm not sure if it's the always delicious & fresh food, or the amazing staff who always make us feel like part of the family. The food is the best Italian we have ever had - The Chicken Parm is the best! Incredible value and portion sizes are HUGE!!! Come Hungry! If you like your food on the spicy side just let them know and you WILL NOT be disappointed. If you're looking for the best secret in the city then come to this quaint little gem - I promise you will keep coming back for more!

To those people who say the food is not authentic Itailian it's obvious they are not ITALIAN or they would have known better! It's pathetic that Ms. Barnes doesn't know enough about Italian GOOD LOOKS AND FOOD. I feel sorry for her!! THE BEST PLACE IN THE CITY. THE STAFF CAN'T DO ENOUGH FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS.

We came upon Nino's during an awake for a sweet uncle who passed away in our famiily. I can not say enough about Frank, Marta and all the staff there. They welcomed us with open arms made us feel at home. The atmosphere very warm and welcoming. My children are very picky eaters. My son does llike pasta,but he loved the penne! My daughter does not care much for chicken, however the chicken that they seved was fantastic she even took some in her luch to school today. Unfortunatly my husband was not able able to be with us on that day. He wants to go very soon and check it out because myself and the kids keep telling him how nice the people there are and how tasty the food was. We will definately be going in for dinner soon! Thank you all so much for everything you did for our family.

this is the BEST RESTAURANT I have been too, the food is amazing,fresh and filling the atmosphere is welcoming the staff are great and friendly gorgeous and to the lady that wrote "I was utterly disgusted by the appearance of the chef" I found him very handsome and for you to write such a thing is just immature!! I don't know what restaurant that she went to but it clearly was not Nino's. I am a huge fan and booked a private party to be held there in the spring and can't wait.

I was utterly disgusted by the appearance of the chef, after seeing him I could barely convince myself to eat the food. Not to mention it was way too salty and the pizza was awful. It was defintly not to my liking, there was way to many things going on, not authentic italian dishes. The customer service was not up to par, people seemed like they were trying to get you in and out as fast as possible. I would not recommend this place nor would I go back.

First time to Nino's Ristorante, not a big fan of Hamilton, some parts are alil shakey, it seems like the people make it worse than it really is. ANYWAYS forget about the city, im here to review the Ristorant. We had the pleasure of having their best seller salad called Nonna's salad, SOOOO YUMMY. The chef also whipped up some yummy rose sauce with riggatoni ***** staff are really friendly, and honestly, I doubt you can find better italian food in hamilton. I got a really good vibe in this place, I would recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic italian food. Cant wait to venture back to hamilton hehe

An excellent place to go...great food and absolutely awesome and nice people who work there. Would definately return and will bring more friends.

Feb. 20, 2010...What a great find. This restaurant is probably the finest Italian in Hamilton (in my opinion) served by attentive but not annoying staff. Even the chef came around the tables to make sure everyone was enjoying their meals! Loved it. Will return. DEFINITELY recommend trying if you haven't!

I was in the restaurant business for 25 years. I rteserved a spot for 5 before the theatre, and when it turned out there would only be 3, I phoned back because I knew it would be a buisy night and didn't want to screw them. When we arrived at 6.30. our appointyed time(we were not late), we were told that they had given out table away because someone had lied about having a reservation. They offered us 13% off (the tax, and something I know could be avoided easily) and we could sit at the bar. The people who had not reserved, should have been moved. I will never go back. I don't know how good the food is, but their customer service is extremely poor and the feeling was....too bad, so sad....bummer about your reservation. They should be ashamed, Move the louts and seat the people who took the time to reserve

WE WENT THERE BEFORE A THEATRE AQUARIUS PERFORMANCE FEB. 29/10 AND WERE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED BY THE MENU AND THE GREAT FOOD. MY COMPANIONS HAD VEAL OR CHICKEN PARMESAN AND SAID THEY COULD CUT IT WITH A FORK, I HAD THE SALMON AND SALAD AND THE FISH WAS PERFECT. DEFINITELY WILL BE GOING BACK.

The food was absolutely amazing. Our server was a young lady who checked up on us every 10 minutes to see how we were doing. The chef was very friendly and joked around with us. We were very happy and our server was amazing, the food was impecable all in all just a very homely place.

We walked in and sat down for a glass of wine and small snack before a show at Theatre Aquarius. The prices and service were great and it was the best lamb I have ever tried! Staff was very kind and friendly, even giving us a hug on the way out! A new favourite!

AWSOME place! Best Italian food in town. Lots of flavor and very hospitable service. We had the veal and the pizza and it was the best we had in a long time. We will be using them for an upcoming family party, from wwhat I understand they cater out as well as hold private functions, but defintley worth it.
