Comments: The food was hit and miss. Romaine salad was ok but antipasto platter left much to be desired. The calamari was excellent though. Entrees were very tasty with the veal being a standout. The service was seamless and honest. Our server was attentive and he was very wine savvy. Comments: This restaurant is located in one of the busiest areas of Toronto, yet on a weekend at 12, there were only 2 other groups of people eating in this restaurant. The waiter was pretty good, attentive, brought everyone water when they needed it. My major complaint however is the menu. It was very limited, and for most of the items on the menu I either had no idea what they were, or didn't know how to pronounce them! I liked the atmosphere, the bar was a nice area, and the fabric on the seats was fun. But beacause of the menu, I probably will not return. | | Review Date: 2006-08-05 |
