Comments: I went there for winterlicious. Arrived at the restaurant around 1:40pm on a Saturday. The restaurant was not full and yet it took a while for us to be seated. I had the squash soup which was tasted fine. Had a bite of the smoked salmon, the lime juice overpowered the thinly sliced salmon pieces. For the main course, I had the lamb. The lamb was red in the middle (we weren't asked how we'd like the lamb to be cooked. So if you want it pink in the middle, you might have to request that). I found my piece to be a little too charred for my taste. The bitterness again overpowered the meat. For dessert, I had the sorbet which was quite refreshing. I also had a bite of the chocolate banana cake which I found to be too sweet. Atmosphere was okay. The restaurant has quite a bit of natural lighting from the big windows. Service was lacking in my opinion though. We waited for quite a while before our orders were taken and our water glasses were not filled without us asking. Our server also reminded us about 5 times that the bill does not include tips.
Granted that $20 for a full course meal is rather hard to find, I would not return to this restaurant (at least not for winterlicious anyways). The food was okay, not spectacular. Service was a bugger (although it might have been just our server).
