Comments: My aunt and I visited this restaurant for lunch. They said we should try their buffet, so we did. The food was bland and listless. The service was mediocre. Let me tell you why:
The Indian bread that they served (Naan) seemed to have a piece of fungus (!!!!) on it. So I called the person who looked like he was in-charge there and asked him what that greenish piece stuck on the bread was. The man said it was probably charcoal since they make it on a charcoal oven or whatever. My aunt, ever so timidly asked, "Are you sure it's not fungus?"
The man didn't say anything, just took it away.
He came back after 10 minutes with bread that was a little warmer to the touch and said, "Do not say it is fungus. It is an insult to us."
So I tried explaining to him that it looked suspicious and I merely wanted to ask what it was.
He then stated, "There are better ways of saying things. You did not have to say that."
I said, "It didn't look like charcoal to me."
The man said, "We try very hard to run this place and you should not have said that it may be fungus! You could have said it in a different way!"
I wanted to ask him if he was trying to tell me how to talk instead of admitting their mistake. But I did not want to create a scene, so my aunt just paid (with a tip, too) and we left.
I have been to plenty of Indian restaurants and I don't think you should waste your time and money on this one. Seriously, you'd be better off some other place (I strongly recommend Trimurti on Queen and another one close to it: Little India, I think). The food was terrible, the service was horrible and the atmosphere (the lack of) was ruined further by their egomaniacal crap.
I will never, ever return to this place. Not even if they paid me to.
