Comments: We had reservations, so we walked right in to Barberian's. However, it looked like there were still some seats available through the night so you would probably be ok to just show up. The items on the menu are expensive (steaks ranging anywhere from $25 - $75). The service was fantastic! Our waiter was very attentive and nice. The food, however, is the main reason to go to this restaurant. It is some of the best beef I've ever had! I ordered the prime rib not knowing how large it was, it was absolutely huge! The house pre-dates Confederation, so you can understand that the decorations are very dated. But the house is a nice piece of history.

Comments: This Canadian steakhouse is expensive..... The decor is very tasteful, nice wallpaper, and historic stuff... plus the fantastic gun display. I would probably model my home using the gun display and possibly the wallpaper. The waiter was pleasant, but he really didn't have to start with the "ladies"... what a fruit cake. The food was really good.... except the soup of the day made me gag at how unpleasant it looked, smelled, and probably taste. The ceasar salad was not bad, could use more croutons... im not judge... i don't eat rabbit food that often.. i eat rabbits more. I had the prime rib.... huge portion.. I could only finish 95% of it.. and that was it. My only minor issue is that weird yorkshire pudding thing they give you... PASS. If i could afford to, I would go there again.

Comments: We went to the resturant for a special occasion and it was definitely not a disappointment. I had the chateaubriand and it was excellent. The portions are huge. Also the garlic bread is sensational
