Comments: This restaurant is highly overrated. It was lucky that I called ahead to confirm my reservation, because they had us down for 7pm even though our reservation was for 8:45. I guess those two times sound the same?? We were seated upstairs in an auxiliary dining room which lacked ambience and service. The radio was on, playing a top 40 station (Mix 99.9) WITH commercials (they couldn't pop an Andrea Bocelli CD in?) We were 'lucky' enough to watch the bartenders making cutlery settings and cleaning glasses. Although the appetizers were good (grilled calamari and goat cheese salad), our main courses were very disappointing. I ordered their special angel hair pasta with "famous" bruschetta sauce and shrimps, which tasted like noodles and ketchup. I think that the shrimp were pre-cooked frozen. My wife ordered veal marsala, which was very average. She has made it better herself. The waiters practically ignored us (even when I made eye contact or raised a finger to call them over), and we waited at least 25 minutes between the apps and the main course. The tiramisu was average, the lady fingers weren't even soaked all the way through. Why was this place so busy? Are people unaware of the great Italian food that can be had elsewhere in this city? We will never go back.
