Comments: Went saturday night after reading review/s Very busy - which I considered a good sign. Well worth the wait. Excellent food, friendly enjoyable service. Very memorable evening and will return again. PS no longer charge 3$ to split because of Stephanie's review. I asked why the charge (actually printed on the Menu Stephanie) and it was explained that the portions were increased with more on each plate for presentation and enjoyment of customers and some dishes were difficult to split and presentation suffered therefore more product - Split charge is common place in most restaurants I frequent. As for hot water charge, unusual but basically the same as tea - why should it be free? Go and enjoy a great restaurant!

Comments: Be warned, this place charges you $2 for "hot h2O service" - which they do not mention and it just shows up on your bill, and also $3 to split an appetizer. We ordered the menu's most expensive mains plus with dessert the extra $6 they charged on the bill was just spare change, but it's the principle of it, and the audacity to charge for something that is normally considered part of regular restaurant service. The food was good, and I have been to CH before, but this was the first time at Corner House where we did not order wine, perhaps in their eyes, we were just "cheap" patrons. I think if they need to make that $6 so badly, they should just raise the prices on the menu and I would have happily paid for it. We tip them as normal, and bid this restaurant adieu. I will not be returning.

Comments: Greeted and seated immediately upon arrival. Service was outstanding. Appetizer, Goat's cheese on organic greens - unbelievable - huge piece of goat's cheese, lovely dressing. Main course, steak and tilapia excellent - good portions, desserts - a bit of a small portion, but incredible. Went with 1 very very picky eater (and hard to impress), who was pleasantly surprised. Great night out.

Comments: I can't believe they served the burnt bread!! We waited in the front foyer for 20 minutes before we were seated so had a great view into the kitchen. We watched them bring out these three burnt baguettes - I said "that's too bad"" Next thing we knew they served them to several tables. POOR POOR POOR The steak and salad were awesome and the chocolate dessert was orgasmic. Throw out the bread!!! With the $ they make from winterlicious they should be able to get a tent or something to cover the front door so people aren't freezing while eating their dinner!
