Comments: I can't believe that this pub has survived since 1998! I checked out the web site before going and the photos on the site look WAY better than the pub does in person. It's dark, damp and dingy.

Waited way too long for a waitress. When she did arrive, she greeted us coldly by throwing coasters down in front of us. She took our drink orders and forgot to give us menus - another 10 minute wait for those. When we asked for them, she gave us attitude. Again, another long wait to have our orders taken. Hard to understand why the service was so slow - it was early lunch on a weekday and there were only two other groups in the place and there were three waitresses. Fish and chips arrived hot and were the only saving grace of the entire experience.

Waited forever to get and pay the bill. We actually had to get up and leave to get service. We asked another waitress if we could pay our bill and she replied with attitude "I'm NOT your waitress", rolled her eyes and walked away.

Worst restaurant and pub experience ever. Steer clear of this place - it doesn't reflect a true Irish pub experience. Avoid the serving staff's attitude.

Comments: Waited for ever to be served, waitress/barmaid had a real attitude.
The food was terrible, though the beer was good.
They have a huge problem with their staff, too bad it has a good location and nice fixtures.

Comments: I ordered a "meal sized salad" and literally could not believe how small the portion was. It came in a very small center-bowl plate with a huge over-sized brim. Seeing the plate come out from the kitchen, one would imagine you were getting a nice big salad. It was very deceiving, and the portion was no bigger than a side salad in any other restaurant...and worth only about $5.00...instead of more than double that amount. When I complained the waitress took it back and returned a few minutes later with the exact same portion, so I gave up. The beer is good and atmosphere upbeat, with lots of sports tv's around. The food prices are not in keeping with the portion sizes however.

Comments: Failte's is a great place to go for drinks (specially on a weekend, they have live music and the place is very lively!). However, not so much the best place for food. Stick to the drinks and you'll enjoy it!
