Comments: Another Great Night @ Brownies!!
Best find in Downtown & I'm always back 4 more.
Satisfies my taste for "Fine Food, Live Jazz & Local Art".
Can't say enough about this "Big Steel"!

Comments: Been here 4 times in the last two years - service has always been friendly but unprofessional and this aspect continues... they really need professional front of the house staff!!

The food in past was good to very good - WHAT HAPPENED??? Pork tenderloin was DRY even with the sauce!! When mentioned to owner, he said he was surprised - no other comment or offer to replace the dish, and for how string it tasted, it might not have even been tenderloin!

The house wine was some tasteless blonk that "salesmen had been in last week with"... only one option of red by the glass - this kind of place should have 3 or 4 by the glass options.

Service has always been polite but really bad!

Comments: Family Anniversary Dinner--
Brownie's more than satisfied. The wait staff was attentive and thorough. The food was uniformly excellent-- all appetizers and entrées came in a timely fashion. The wine menu was ample and the
bottles paired very well with food that was nicely prepared and presented-- the table guests enjoyed delicious filet, pork, chicken, fish, and several fine pastas.

The kitchen also arranged for a special celebratory cake which with a complimentary digestif, was just the right combination to end a very enjoyable evening.

Comments: I like the look of this place. I went there for lunch and it wasn't very good. The soup tasted canned. But it is a nice vibe n the downtown

Comments: Certainly a jewel in Hamiltons crown. Feel is NYC chic, petite in scale while casualy elegant. Heard much buzz about Brownies so we've had it on our list of "must trys".
We weren't dissapointed in fact quite surprised that our city has such a "Toronto trendy" eatery with very good food & prices to match. Menu is quite extensive given most new restaurants limited offerings. Wew all had appetizers, crostinis and grilled scampi are over the top. Blue cheese & pear salad as it good as it gets .
Entrees; filet, veal scallopini, grilled salmon & seafood pasta as good as they look in Brownies advertisement in Hamilton Magazine & on their web site. Everything was done to order and as they had a full house we had time between appetizers & our mains to enjoy a reasonably priced bottle or two of Liberty School. A jazz guitar player rounded out our evening while we finished up with espresso & brandy.Service attentive & friendly.
Quite nice that the owner/chef came out from kitchen to ensure all was good.
Definitely on our monthly "night out" dining rotation.
