Comments: I love Joya. My family and I went there right when they opened a while back, and we've been going ever since. It's a REAL family restaurant, always the same staff, so much so that the hostess actually recognizes me everytime I come in. The sushi is fantastic, you can tell the maker is very attentive and delicate with the fish. Every meal comes with a small salad and bowl of nice warm miso soup. Comments: found joya sushi by chance and have been going back ever since. IT is a family run business, and the service is great. The menu has something for everyone. The prices are very reasonalbe and range from as low as 7 up to about 20. most meals include soup and salad, both of which are great.

Comments: I've passed Joya in the car many times and today I did stop and ordered a take-out sushi plate lunch. The chef subbed salmon sushi for the California rolls (I make them at home). Best sushi I've had in thirty years! Fresh, beautifully crafted: rice holds together and is fragrant and fish is fresh, fresh and cut perfectly! Don't let its exterior fool you (as it did me). Comments: easily the best sushi restaurant in hamilton. the service and the quality of the food is excellent. there is plenty of selection, and if you are not a sushi fan, the teriyaki is a delicious choice. Comments: I have tried many different sushi restaurants, including some of the best restaurants in Vancouver, BC. Joya sushi is one of my favourites! The quality of the sushi is excellent. Try their Spicy Salmon Roll -- its so delicious. There is plenty of selection, and you can try any type of sushi on the menu, its all amazing. And the service is excellent, even when they are busy!
