Comments: I went here for a co-worker's birthday and I will not return. The service here was awful as it took atleast 20 minutes for the waitor to ask us for our drinks. We requested for a pitcher of water and we were given a pitcher of boiling hot water instead but I guess that could have been an honest mistake. What really dissapointed me was that my friend and I both ordered veal parmigiana. Both of our veals arrived way over cooked and we couldn't even cut it with a normal dinner knife. We both requested a steak knife and even then it was really difficult to cut. When I finally was able to cut a piece of the veal to eat I was terribly dissapointed since it was as tough as leather and I could barely even swallow it. I requested for the veal to be replaced but the waitor offered a different type of veal instead but I told him I wanted what I ordered. The waitor finally brought over a replacement veal and said they tried to make it extra soft for me. I tried it and it was softer but it was still really tough. The sad part was that he didn't even apologize for giving me a piece of leather instead of veal. My lunch ended up costing me $24 and it was complete garbage. Comments: I have been here a couple of times. The food is always good, but on my last visit the service was terrible. First off, after being seated we waited for nearly 15 minutes before we were able to get the attention of our server. When a member of our party pointed out the long wait without service, the server gave her the most disingenuous apology you could imagine. Then he made some lame excuse about it being busy. A restaurant busy at lunch? What a surprise. I guess he’d rather have the joint empty?
When he returned with our drinks he made some snide remark about the wait. It was clear that he was not happy about the fact that we had noted the slow service, and he wasn’t going to get past it. After delivering the food he never came back. Again, we had to get his attention for him to bring the bill.
There were three people in my party. We visited for lunch, ordered two pizzas and a calzone, no starters, no dessert or coffee, and the whole affair took an hour and a half. Unbelievable. The food is excellent but on this visit the service was awful.
If you visit make sure you don’t get the server Sassa 1 (server name on the receipt), the guy is a total dick!
