Plan ccordingly next time you decide to gangbang a resterant with 40 freaking people. What the hell kind of service did you expect??? Secondly, you do not bring 17 screaming young kids to a fine dine resterant like that. That is what Chucky Cheese is for. Respect the other diners in the resterant. Comments: Server was rude when taking our order,once food arrived, the pasta was undercooked and our server was not available for the longest time, we had to get our own cheese and pepper and when we asked for the bill, they brought it, waited for the form of payment, took our credit card and a different server brought back the same bill with a pen, it took 10 minutes before someone saw we had been signaling to ANY server before we were able to pay and leave. "a terribly mismanaged restaurant" - Edit review
September 29, 2008 - Doesn't like it - the good: the food - everything was delicious the bad: we had a large party of 40 - the restaurant only scheduled one server for it - thru little fault of her own, the service was sadly lackingthe ugly: we could not see that the manager did anything to help her even though seventeen 7-year-olds waited 90 minutes for food and half of them had to leave before dessert came out; the manager refused to give us our group discount which we had agreed upon when booking (arguing that the 'bookee' had no right to have offered the discount); in spite of our complaints on service the manager refused to remove the automatic 15% gratuity for large parties (which really can't even be legal).the verdict: in spite of great food the experience was a complete turn-off - the manager was rude, unhelpful, and truly couldn't have cared less if we left happy or even indifferent. the most disheartening part is that the party had been booked 2 weeks prior, with all details worked out including a pre-set menu for the kids; separate bills for the adults; and a group discount. whether it was an overly-ambitious staff member who agreed to the booking or not, the mismanaged event will go down as a brutal event for 17 families who live in the area. | | Review Date: 2008-09-29 |

Comments: I have always loved Rocco's and eat there at least 50% of the time I go out for dinner (since I moved to Etobicoke in 2001). I bring all my friends there. Unfortunately on my last two visits (in the last two months) we were served by "Artur" (according to the bill). I find him incredibly rude and he makes condescending and sarcastic comments - I feel very uncomfortable going to Rocco's any more and unfortunately likely won't return. I was hoping the first experience was just a bad night, but the second visit was just as bad. I wish I knew what happened to the gentleman that used to always serve us - he was great! I hope they realize what damage "Artur" is doing to their business. Comments: Was there on a Friday nite go early as the place is small and cramped. The service was spotty never had the same server. The food was great portion size was large.
